Congratulations to our Year 11 students who have achieved some stunning results this year. Their hard work throughout the past few years has paid off and we wish them the very best for the next part of their educational journey.

Our initial results analysis shows that attainment is very similar to the record breaking 2022 grades and much higher than the 2019 results.  We are particularly pleased with the number of students who achieved a Distinction or higher for their vocational course – 35% of all the grades. Furthermore, 42% of all GCSE grades were in the Grade 7 – 9 categories. These are superb results!

Progress measures (value added) will be more apparent when we have the national picture, but as it stands, I am confident that it will be the best that Tomlinscote has ever achieved!

I hope that Year 11 students celebrate their results today and parents can now relax!
