Please be aware that the final deadline date for all Technology students to hand in their coursework is their first timetabled lesson during the week beginning Monday 15th March 2010.

Tomlinscote School aims to promote high ethical standards and to broaden cultural horizons. It is committed to the creation of a happy and caring fully co-educational environment in which its pupils are able to realise their complete potential.

Tomlinscote is an 11 to 18 co-educational school which was opened in 1970 as Surrey's first purpose-built comprehensive. It has 1560 students including 240 in Years 12/13, 100 teaching staff and 35 support staff. Students enter Tomlinscote at the age of 11 years from local Junior, Primary and Independent Preparatory schools. Over-subscription is a common feature, resulting in waiting lists for entry.

Tomlinscote College has a long and proud record of providing students with the opportunity to excel in their chosen subjects, both for University entrance and the world of work. In addition students have the most fantastic social life, indeed friendships formed at Tomlinscote last many of our graduates throughout their lives.

Tomlinscote is also a designated Language College, which helps to prepare students for many of the new courses appearing at Universities that combine Science, Technology and Business Studies with a language. Students also have the opportunity to take part in our exchange programme with countries such as France, Spain, Germany and Japan.
