Tomlinscote is a very popular and successful School and Sixth Form College. We are committed to the creation of a happy and caring fully co-educational environment in which each of the 1650+ students is able to realise his or her potential and develop into successful adults. Tomlinscote supplements the full curriculum with two areas of specialism: Languages and Applied Learning. These areas of excellence include opportunities for visits to Japan and China plus exchanges to France, Spain and Germany, while the wonderful Vocational Centre provides first class facilities for learning. The success of this work is shown by the Outstanding judgement awarded by Ofsted. Ian Hylan |

We are entering an important time for Year 9 students with the imminent start of the 'Options' process. This is when choices are made about the subjects to continue into Y10 and 11. Some subjects - English, Maths etc are in the compulsory 'Core'. Other subjects - Art, History, Construction etc are choices; hence the name Options. To help judge progress, reports were issued on Friday 20th January and a Parents' Evening is planned for 21st February. Click here for more details of the Parents evening |
